The Tradify Pulse Report 2022 is here! How does your trade business stack up against similar businesses? What are other tradespeople thinking about the outlook for 2022? How does your trade compare against others? Here’s your chance to find out.
Across November 2021, the Tradify team used an online survey to take the pulse of more than 600 owners of trade businesses from Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The results vary by country, so we’ve split the data into three different reports — one for each of these regions.
We also asked these trade business owners a bunch of other questions about how they run their business, what they do well, and what they don’t do well. This is your chance to see how your business compares to similar trade businesses across a number of different areas.
In our 2022 Tradify Pulse Report, we found out from hundreds of tradespeople around the world about the biggest challenges facing their trade businesses. Unsurprisingly, COVID-19 continues to throw a spanner in the works for many, bringing with it some new challenges — namely, worldwide building materials shortages. Some countries appear to have been hit harder by COVID-19 this year, with our New Zealand participants expressing much more concern for the future than they did in our last report.
Trade business owners are spending an average of over 18 hours on admin every week — higher than we found in our last report. Most people hate paperwork, but how much time should you really be spending on it every week? Are you spending more or less time on admin than other trade businesses like yours? Get this info, plus more in the Tradify Pulse Report.
Almost 35% of trade business owners aren't doing anything to promote their business — this number is too high. Good promotion is the best way to get your name out there and win more work. In this year's report, we tell you how you can up your marketing game.
