Note: Text Reminders are only available to paid customers in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. This feature is not available on Tradify Partner accounts.
Automate your customer appointment reminders with Tradify! With the tick of a box, you can send automatic reminders about upcoming jobs in your schedule and watch your business run smoother as result.
Automatic text reminders can help you:
- Look more professional.
- Avoid last-minute cancellations.
- Remind customers of upcoming jobs.
1. Setting up automatic text appointment reminders in Tradify
- On the desktop version of Tradify, go to the Subscription & Billing section of the Settings.
- On the text reminders section, click Start to activate text reminders.
- Click Yes on the pop-up to confirm the activation, agreeing to be charged per text message sent.
Once text reminders are activated, they are enabled by default. You can then enable or disable them at any time.
How much do automatic text reminders cost?
The price per text will be displayed in the text reminders section. You'll be charged for each text successfully sent.

2. Timing & content
Once you have enabled text reminders through Tradify, two different text messages will be sent:
1. A 2-day reminder
This reminder will be sent at 9 am, 2 days before the appointment day — regardless of the appointment time.
Message: Hi, friendly reminder we’ll be onsite (appointment day) at approx (appointment time). Thanks, (company name) [Auto Msg - Pls Don’t Reply]
2. A 'just-in-time' reminder
For appointments scheduled at and after 10 am, the reminders will be sent at 8 am on the day of the appointment.
Message: Hi, friendly reminder we’ll be onsite today at approx (appointment time). Thanks, (company name) [Auto Msg - Pls Don’t Reply]
For appointments scheduled before 10 am, the reminders will be sent at 8 pm the night before the appointment.
Message: Hi, friendly reminder we’ll be onsite tomorrow at approx (appointment time). Thanks, (company name) [Auto Msg - Pls Don’t Reply]
