We offer a flexible Quoting feature that helps you win more work. Create quotes on the go with pre-populated Quote Templates, Kits and automated reminders. You'll win more work on the tools and do less work chasing up potential clients. 

When creating your quotes, we've helped simplify the process as well by adding quote sections. This helps your customers see what they're getting quoted for in an organised way.

2. Estimating

Need a best guess document to send to potential customers? In Tradify, we have you covered with our estimates feature. With a few quick changes in your document themes settings, you can easily switch between quoting and estimating — all within the same tab.

Your customers will still see the document you send as an estimate, whether that be via a text message or an email.

3. Invoicing

Invoicing - Tradify offers you a comprehensive invoicing feature. Bill for work you've completed and copy information directly from Quotes you've already created. Tradify talks to your favourite accounting software, so send your Invoices to your chosen platform for stress-free accounting.

4. Accounting software integrations

Globally, we integrate with Xero and Quickbooks Online. In Australia and New Zealand we offer MYOB Accountright and MYOB Essentials. Tradify offers Sage in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Xero

Xero and Tradify operate in a two-way sync, meaning that you can send information between both platforms, including invoices, bills, customers and suppliers.

Quickbooks Online

In Australia and New Zealand, Tradify integrates with MYOB Accountright. Using MYOB alongside Tradify helps improve your efficiency by taking complicated financial management tasks off your hands so you can focus on managing the other elements of your trade business. Additionally, with an automated sync between MYOB and Tradify, your invoices are sent directly to MYOB to give you a more comprehensive picture of your business' financial performance.

Sage

In the United Kingdom and Ireland, you can integrate with Sage, a comprehensive accounting software package that offers flexibility for growing trade businesses. 

Sage offers a variety of solutions for businesses of varying sizes. Whether you have a one-man-band or a team, there's an option to suit your accounting needs. As with the other integrations, you can import customers and suppliers, send invoices and get a better handle on your money matters with this accounting integration.

5. Job management 

Tradify is a job management software — what does this all actually mean? Well, we should really let our features speak for themselves. 

Job cards

With Tradify you can attach all your necessary documents to whatever projects you're working on. From smaller maintenance jobs to large-scale efforts, you can organise your business' activities in a clean and logical way with Tradify.

With jobs being assigned to customers, you can keep track of the work you're completing and reduce admin by filling in details as you go. From scheduling to invoicing, all of your important tasks are kept safely stored under this job.

Managing staff

In Tradify, you can create staff profiles to keep track of your team. Fieldworker management

With Tradify, managing yourself and your team on the go is easy. With our seamless mobile management software, you can dispatch staff from the office or in the van. 

Our Map feature also helps you check out locations and see where your staff are. Need to know where your team are so you can book the closest person to an upcoming job? With Tradify, it's too easy.

 

6. Scheduling and time management

Take away the stress from your scheduling with Tradify's intuitive, flexible and powerful Scheduler. On web, switch between three views:

  • Horizontal Timeline View: Assessing worker availability has never been easier. With a handy zoom feature and current time needle, booking jobs is a breeze.
  • Vertical Planner View: Check your calendar from the office or on the go with the Vertical Planner view — available on both desktop and mobile devices. 
  • Calendar Grid View: Easily assess your month ahead with our Calendar Grid View. This view is perfect for those longer jobs that span over days and weeks. 

Tradify's scheduler is user-friendly and links to all of the other great features we offer, such as managing your jobs and your staff/subcontractors. You can customise your schedule to suit your needs, from assigning breaks to delegating team members to jobs. With the handy Connections feature, you can also invite other Tradify users and even those who aren't on Tradify to view appointments and job information.

Timesheets

Want to record time spent on a job after you've worked it? Tradify offers the simplest of solutions for this. Our timesheets feature helps you not only manage your time spent working, but allows you to get a better insight on how well your business is running.

7. Forms & Certificates 

Tradify makes it easier to create, sign, save, and send your safety forms from within the app. Ditch the pen and paper with our industry-specific and general forms. From the Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) in the United Kingdom, to the Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) forms in Australia and New Zealand, we've got your compliance needs covered.

Note: Forms and certificates are currently only available in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. 

🇬🇧 Forms in the United Kingdom

Tradespeople in the United Kingdom will find it easier to certify their work with Tradify's digital safety certificate templates. With easy access and secure storage, you can create, send and organise electrical, oil and gas certificates in one place. Our forms have a fixed structure, helping you increase accuracy by avoiding formatting errors. 

Electrical Forms & Certificates 

Using digital electrical certificates can help you run your electrical business in a variety of ways. From streamlining your documents to generating more revenue, you'll be ahead of the game when using our software to create, sign, and send safety forms.

Tradify offers a variety of electrical safety forms in the United Kingdom. You can create an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) form, commonly used to certify an electrical installation. Check out what you need in an EICR with our handy checklist.

You can also create an Electrical Installation Check (EIC) in Tradify, which is an electrical safety inspection focusing more on an installation's visible wiring. 

For small-scale electrical installations, you may need to complete a Minor Works Certificate (otherwise known as a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate). You can easily fill these out, obtain signatures and keep these in a secure place for future reference with Tradify.

Tradify also offers a Danger Notice template, allowing you to notify customers of immediate risk with electrical installations. Usually issued after an inspection, this report will outline the risks and the actions needed to correct said electrical risks.

To certify emergency electrical installations, you can complete an Emergency Lighting Completion Certificate (ELCC) in Tradify. This helps you certify the quality of a propety's installation and how it complies with the relevant regulations. As a semi-regular certification, having your previous and current copies stored in a secure place helps you work more efficiently.

For inspecting emergency lighting installations after their completion, you'll need to complete an Emergency Lighting Periodic Inspection and Testing Certificate (ELPIT). This is a semi-regular assessment of an emergency installation's capability to function as intended in the event of an emergency. 

To certify electrical appliances are safe and can be covered by insurance, Tradify also offers the PAT Report in-app.

Gas/Oil Forms & Certificates

In addition to the electrical certificates, Tradify also offers gas and oil certificates. 

To certify oil-fired heating systems, you can complete a CD/10 Oil Firing Installation Completion Report in Tradify. Easily, create, sign, send and issue proof that your heating work meets safety standards with our powerful job management software.

The CD/11 Oil Firing Servicing & Commission Report certifies that an oil-heating system is safe. The report serves as proof that the system has been serviced and commissioned correctly and is operating safely and efficiently. 

For rental properties, you'll need a CD/12 Landlord Oil Installation Safety Check certificate. This proves to landlords, tenants and local authorities that a heating system is safe to use and meets governing standards. 

For identifying oil heating risks, you'll need to issue a CD/14 Oil Warning and Advice Notice

If you need to evaluate the potential fire risk and environmental impact of an oil storage tank, you can easily use our TI/133D domestic oil storage tank spillage fire risk assessment form.

🇦🇺 Forms in Australia

Aussie tradies, we also have forms for you, spanning across general safety to state-based electrical forms. 

General safety forms 

To evaluate high-risk sites, we offer the High Risk Construction Work Safe Work Method Statement (HRCW SWMS) to ensure all your site's risks and hazards are identified and mitigated.

 

Additionally, you can create a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) in Tradify, helping you identify risks in specific job tasks. 

Electrical safety forms

In Australia, we offer three electrical safety certificates in-app across New South Wales, Queensland and Northern Territory.

Please note that due to state restrictions on certain forms, we cannot offer these as part of our product.

The New South Wales Electrical Safety Certificate (NSW ESC) is issued to demonstrate that electrical work has been completed in compliance with the state's safety standards. You will need to send these out as a licensed electrician undertaking work in NSW.

In Queensland, you can create, sign, and send the Certificate of Testing (QLD COT) from Tradify. This helps you certify that the electrical equipment has been tested to be safe with state regulations. 

You can also create a Northern Territory Certificate of Compliance (NT COC) to ensure electrical work has been carried out according to state standards. A COC is required for any new electrical installations.

🇳🇿 Forms in New Zealand

We offer a variety of general, electrical and gas safety certificates on Tradify for our New Zealand users. From the Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) to the Gas Certificate of Compliance, there is something for a variety of tradespeople.

General safety certificates

In New Zealand, you can easily create both the Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) and the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) forms to assess site safety for either an entire site or specific elements. 

Electrical safety certificates

If you're looking for a job management system that comes with the electrical safety certificates you ned — you've come to the right place. Tradify offers the Electrical Safety Certificate (ESC) and the Certificate of Compliance (COC) across New Zealand, meaning you can safely evaluate electrical work as you manage the other elements of your trade business.

Gas safety certificates

If you're a gasfitter or need gas-specific safety certificates, we have you covered.

In New Zealand, you can create a Gas Safety Certificate (GSC), which you can use for new and existing gas installation works. Or, you can create a Gas Certificate of Compliance (Gas COC), which must be issued after any new gas installation.

8. Connections 

Manage your Subcontractors easily with our Connections feature. Easily send your Subcontractor Job and Appointment details by adding them in the same place you'd add staff.

Your Connections can create a Tradify profile and view the Jobs and Appointments they've been added to in a limited version of the Tradify app. 

 

9. Enquiries

Tradify Enquiries lets tradespeople import work orders, customer enquiries and any other form of work request into Tradify (emails, calls, website enquiries). With these enquiries now accessible in one place we’ve seen trade business owners significantly reduce the time it takes to create a quote, helping them to win more work.

When using our Enquiries, you can create either a web form or use a specific email address that sends enquiries directly to Tradify.

11. X-Ray Vision

Note: Text Messages are only available in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.

  • Quote Reminders give you the ability to send scheduled follow-up emails/text messages for any quotes sent out of Tradify, removing the need for manual follow-up. 
  • Payment Reminders work in a similar way by sending automated payment reminder emails/text messages for any invoice sent out of Tradify.

The emails are customisable, letting you add your own personal touch.

13. Online Credit Card Payments

Contactless, online payment options are a great way for tradies to get paid faster. You can offer online credit card payment options through our partnership with Stripe.
